Job summary

Our client is seeking a dedicated Asset Integrity Engineer in Randburg, Gauteng to ensure safety, reliability, and performance of oil & gas assets. You will develop AIM programs, conduct RBI planning, and oversee mechanical integrity, corrosion management, and welding procedures.

The role requires a mechanical engineering background with at least 5 years in asset integrity and a solid grasp of RBI methodologies, NDT, and industry codes such as API and ASME.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in asset integrity, mechanical integrity, or reliability engineering, preferably in Oil & Gas.
• Strong understanding of corrosion mechanisms, NDT methods, and inspection techniques.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage asset integrity management (AIM) programs for critical equipment and facilities.
• Conduct RBI planning and analysis to prioritize inspection and maintenance activities.
• Oversee mechanical integrity programs, including material selection, corrosion management, and welding procedures.
• Ensure compliance with API/ASME codes and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze equipment failure data, investigate root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
