Placements24 seeks a dedicated Asset Integrity Engineer for their Randburg, Gauteng operations in the Oil & Gas sector. You will develop and implement AIM programs, lead RBI planning, and oversee mechanical integrity across assets to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Materials Science, with 5+ years in asset/mechanical integrity, strong corrosion knowledge, and proficiency with API/ASME codes and RBI software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science or related field.
• At least 5 years in asset integrity, mechanical integrity or reliability engineering, preferably Oil & Gas.
• Strong knowledge of corrosion mechanisms, NDT methods, and inspection techniques.
• Familiarity with API 510/570/653 and ASME B31.3 codes.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage asset integrity management (AIM) programs for critical equipment and facilities.
• Plan and execute risk-based inspection (RBI) scheduling and analyses to prioritise activities.
• Oversee mechanical integrity programs including corrosion management and welding procedures.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Asset Integrity Engineer to join their team in Randburg, Gauteng . This role is crucial for ensuring the long-term safety, reliability, and performance of our operational assets within the Oil & Gas industry . You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive asset integrity management systems, conducting risk-based inspections, and overseeing maintenance strategies to prevent failures and ensure regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage asset integrity management (AIM) programs for critical equipment and facilities.

• Experience with risk-based inspection methodologies and software.
