Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Asset Integrity Engineer to join a fully remote team focusing on safety, reliability, and longevity of critical oil & gas assets. You will develop and implement asset integrity management strategies for pipelines and facilities, coordinating with global engineering, operations, and maintenance groups.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical or materials background, 6+ years in asset integrity, strong NDT and RBI knowledge, and experience with asset integrity

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years in asset integrity management, preferably in Oil & Gas.
• Strong knowledge of inspection techniques, materials science, corrosion and failure analysis.
• Familiarity with RBI methodologies and asset integrity software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and project management skills.
• Ability to work remotely with distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement AIM plans for pipelines and critical assets.
• Oversee inspection, NDT and maintenance activities to ensure integrity.
• Conduct risk-based assessments to prioritize interventions.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous Asset Integrity Engineer to join their remote team, focusing on ensuring the safety, reliability, and longevity of their critical infrastructure within the Oil & Gas sector. This role involves developing and implementing comprehensive asset integrity management strategies, including inspection, testing, and maintenance programs. You will collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams globally to proactively identify and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with stringent industry standards and regulations. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to operational excellence from a fully remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement asset integrity management (AIM) plans for pipelines, processing facilities, and other critical assets.
• Oversee inspection, NDT (Non-Destructive Testing), and maintenance activities to ensure asset integrity.
• Conduct risk-based assessments to prioritize integrity interventions and optimize maintenance strategies.
• Analyze inspection data and performance metrics to identify degradation mechanisms and potential failures.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., API, DNV).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage asset lifecycle and develop strategies for aging infrastructure.
