Qualifications

• Strong cooking techniques, ingredients and food preparation knowledge.
• Understanding of HACCP principles and food safety regulations.
• Ability to work efficiently and calmly under pressure.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Creative flair and a willingness to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook dishes for your designated section.
• Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all dishes leaving the kitchen.
• Manage inventory for your section, including stock rotation and ordering of ingredients.
• Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards in your work area.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff.
• Collaborate with the Head Chef and other Chefs de Partie to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Control food costs by minimizing waste and managing portion sizes.
• Contribute to menu development and special event planning.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
