Job summary

Premier FMCG (Pty) Ltd in Mthatha is seeking a skilled Maintenance Artisan to maintain plant and equipment at site. You will perform day-to-day maintenance, fault finding, and participate in equipment upgrades, with a focus on safety and reliability.

The role requires a relevant trade qualification, 3–5 years in a similar trade and at least 3 years in a baking environment. Candidates should be team players, accurate, resilient, and capable of working after hours on a heavy, loud bakery site.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience in a relevant trade.
• 3 years' experience in Baking Environment.
• Trade qualification relevant to maintenance of plant and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Day to day maintaining of plant and equipment.
• Fault finding and troubleshooting of processes.
• On the job training for operators and apprentices.
• Plant and system upgrades / project management.
• System maintenance and upkeep of plant and systems.
• Audits (Safety and stock control) and compliance.
• PLC knowledge / automation / SCADA systems.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent
