Job summary

Telebest in Centurion, South Africa, is seeking a qualified Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team. The role focuses on maintaining electrical equipment, implementing preventive plans and responding to faults on site.

The ideal candidate holds N3–N6 in Electrical Engineering with a Trade-Test, matric, and at least two years of relevant maintenance experience, including PLCs and air breakers, plus a valid SA driver's license.

Qualifications

• 2 yrs relevant experience in electrical maintenance, min 1yr in Trade.
• Practical knowledge on working on air breakers and PLCs.
• Matric and trade qualification required.
• Valid SA driver's license required.
• Basic computer skills (MS Word/Excel/Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Carry out task requirements on job cards per client and company requirements
• Conduct maintenance of electrical equipment in accordance with maintenance schedules
• Ensure that preventative or emergency fault rectification complies with the relevant legislation, SLA and job plans
• Identify potential problems or hazards on Client equipment for investigation, evaluation and resolution
