Job summary

Fidelity Services Group requires an Armourer at the Parow Branch to ensure that all Security and CIT officers have safe, functioning firearms. The role covers armoury management, issuing firearms, and maintaining accurate registers.

The position demands PSIRA Grade C, completed handgun and rifle training, and a SAPS competency certificate. Living near Parow with own transport is essential; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• PSIRA Grade C accreditation is required.
• Firearm training in handgun and rifle completed.
• SAPS competency certificate required.
• CIT certificate is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Full responsibility for all firearms management.
• Issue and receive firearms to and from the armoury.
• Maintain and update firearm registers.
• Ensure firearms are clean and functional; report damages.
• Scan firearms as required.
• Ensure monthly Regulation 21 refresher training is conducted.
• Respond to incidents and take preventive action.
