Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience as an Architectural Technologist, focused on residential projects.
• Professional registration with SAIA T or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Strong ability to produce detailed technical drawings and documentation.
• Excellent knowledge of SA building codes, NBR and municipal planning processes.
• Ability to interpret and implement architectural designs effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed architectural construction drawings, plans, sections, elevations, and schedules using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Prepare and manage project documentation, including specifications, schedules, and tender documents.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure clarity and accuracy of design information.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure construction conforms to design specifications in Tembisa.
• Ensure all designs comply with the National Building Regulations (NBR) and local authority requirements in Gauteng.
• Assist in the selection of building materials and finishes.
