Placements24 is seeking an Architectural Technologist to join our Queenstown team, focusing on coordinating projects and producing detailed construction documentation. You will bridge design concepts with construction execution, liaising with architects, engineers, and contractors to manage information flow on site.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience, are proficient in Revit and AutoCAD, and understand SA building regulations.

Qualifications

• Degree or National Diploma in Architectural Technology or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Architectural Technologist, focused on technical documentation and project coordination.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is essential.
• Solid understanding of building construction processes and SA building regulations.

Responsibilities

• Translate architectural designs into detailed technical drawings and construction documentation.
• Coordinate effectively with architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Manage the documentation process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Address and resolve technical queries arising during construction.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure design intent and quality.
• Assist in the preparation of tender documents and construction specifications.
