Placements24 is seeking an Architectural Drafter for a dynamic architectural firm in Sandton, Gauteng. You will translate design concepts into precise construction drawings using AutoCAD and Revit, supporting architects and project teams throughout the documentation process.

Ideal candidates hold a National Diploma in Architectural Technology, have 4+ years drafting high-rise projects, and possess strong knowledge of SA building regulations.

Qualifications

• National Diploma in Architectural Technology or Draughting.
• 4+ years of experience as an Architectural Drafter, preferably on high-rise projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Strong knowledge of SA building regulations and NBR.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed architectural drawings (plans, sections, elevations, details) in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Coordinate drawings with structural, mechanical, and electrical consultants.
• Ensure drawings comply with codes, standards, and project specs.
• Prepare and update construction documentation through project lifecycle.
• Assist in site visits to verify conditions and gather data.
• Support BIM coordination where applicable.
