Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Architectural Draughtsperson for a fully remote role in Durban. You will translate design concepts into buildable plans, producing precise drawings and documentation under architects' guidance.

The ideal candidate has AutoCAD proficiency, familiarity with BIM tools, and a solid understanding of drafting standards. Collaboration with project teams and maintaining organized archives are important, with opportunities to work on diverse Durban-area projects.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and ability to produce precise drawings.
• Strong understanding of architectural drafting standards and conventions.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawings.
• Ability to interpret architectural sketches and design briefs.

Responsabilités

• Produce detailed architectural drawings, plans, sections, and elevations using CAD and BIM software.
• Assist architects in the preparation of design development documents and construction drawings.
• Ensure all drawings are accurate, to scale, and meet project specifications and building regulations.
• Coordinate with project teams to incorporate revisions and updates into drawings promptly.
• Prepare drawing lists, schedules, and basic specifications as directed by the project architect.
• Maintain organized digital and physical drawing archives for easy retrieval and reference.
