Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Architectural Drafter in Klerksdorp, North West, to translate concepts into construction-ready drawings for commercial fit-out projects. You will collaborate with architects and designers to ensure plans meet project specifications and building codes.

The role requires strong AutoCAD skills, a dependable eye for detail, and a minimum of three years’ professional drafting experience. Revit experience is a plus, with a supportive firm culture in a busy design environment.

Qualifications

3+ years of professional experience as an Architectural Drafter.
Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; Revit or other 3D modeling software is a plus.
Strong understanding of architectural drafting conventions and symbols.
Familiarity with building codes and commercial interiors.

Responsibilities

Produce detailed architectural drawings (floor plans, elevations, sections, details) using AutoCAD and related software.
Prepare construction documentation packages for commercial fit-outs.
Ensure accuracy and consistency with project requirements and standards.
Coordinate design revisions with project teams and consultants.
Prepare drawings for client presentations and regulatory submissions.
Maintain organized digital drawing files and project archives.
Support site visits by documenting and recording site information.
Assist in Bills of Quantities and material schedules.
