Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Architectural Drafter in Polokwane to translate designs into precise drawings and documents for construction. You will work with architects and project managers to ensure plans meet specifications and regulatory requirements, gaining hands-on experience in Limpopo's development region.

Ideal candidates have a National Diploma or certificate in architectural drafting and at least 3 years' drafting experience, with AutoCAD essential and Revit familiarity a plus.

Qualifications

• National Diploma or Certificate in Architectural Drafting or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in architectural drafting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; familiarity with Revit is a plus.
• Strong understanding of architectural drafting conventions and symbols.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in producing technical drawings.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed architectural drawings, plans, sections, and elevations using CAD software.
• Assist architects in developing design concepts by preparing preliminary sketches and models.
• Ensure all drafted documentation is accurate, consistent, and adheres to project standards.
• Coordinate with engineers and other consultants to incorporate their designs into architectural drawings.
• Review construction documents for accuracy and completeness before issuance.
• Maintain organized project drawing files and documentation.
