Placements24 is seeking an Architectural Designer to contribute to mixed-use urban regeneration projects in Paarl, Western Cape. You will work in a collaborative studio from concept through design development, shaping urban spaces and communities with sustainable, placemaking-focused design.

The role requires a degree in Architecture, 3–6 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Architecture or related design field.
• 3–6 years of experience in architectural design with a strong mixed-use/urban regeneration portfolio.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Excellent graphic and visualization skills; clear design communication.
• Strong understanding of urban design, placemaking, and sustainable development.
• Familiarity with South African building codes and planning processes is advantageous.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.

• Contribute to conceptual design and master planning for mixed-use urban regeneration.
