Job summary

Placements24 in Upington invites an experienced Architect to join a boutique practice focused on sustainable development and integrated urban planning. You will lead design for residential, commercial and public spaces, delivering environmentally responsible solutions that positively shape Upington’s urban fabric.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Architecture with SACAP registration, 5+ years of post‑graduate experience, and a portfolio in sustainable design or urban planning.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Architecture required.
• SACAP registration is required or in good standing.
• Minimum of 5 years post‑graduate experience in architectural design.
• Strong portfolio in sustainable design and/or urban planning.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and Rhino; visualization skills beneficial.
• Knowledge of green building certifications is an advantage.
• Understanding arid climate design challenges and solutions.
• Excellent communication, presentation and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in Upington.

Responsibilities
