Job summary

Pump and Abrasion Technologies in Gauteng seeks a Floor Leader to oversee daily store operations and staff performance. You will ensure SOP compliance, accurate timekeeping and timely administration while maintaining presentation and stock standards.

You will lead training on customer service and selling skills, handle stock takes and banking, and communicate with the Store manager to mitigate losses and improve processes.

Qualifications

• Oversee SOP adherence and staff training.
• Maintain accurate timekeeping and attendance.
• Ensure store administration is submitted correctly and on time.
• Maintain store presentation, cleanliness and stock organization.
• Complete daily banking and reporting, manage stock takes.
• Report misconduct and communicate issues to Store manager.
• Assist with sourcing and recruiting staff as needed.
• Provide training on customer service and selling skills.
• Handle customer complaints and minimize losses with risk controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily store operations and staff performance.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs and policies by all staff.
• Maintain accurate timekeeping records and timely admin.
• Keep store presentation, stock levels, and cleanliness at high standards.
• Manage banking, stock takes, and variance investigations.
• Communicate issues to Store manager and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in recruiting additional sales staff when required.
• Train staff in customer service and selling skills.
