Job summary

HumanRise ZA in collaboration with a Saudi client seeks a veterinary anesthesiologist to provide specialist care for companion animals undergoing surgical, diagnostic and emergency procedures.

The role is residential in Riyadh or Jeddah with annual leave and a return flight to South Africa; candidates must relocate and cover shifts including emergencies. Modern equipment and a supportive team accompany this opportunity.

Qualifications

• Recognised veterinary degree and certified specialisation relevant to anesthesiology.
• Minimum of five years’ clinical experience.
• Experience managing routine, complex and high-risk anesthetic patients.
• Willingness to relocate and participate in shift and emergency coverage.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop individual anesthetic plans.
• Administer and supervise anesthesia and sedation.
• Monitor patients during procedures and recovery.
• Manage complications and coordinate pain relief.
• Support equipment checks, clinical records and team training.

These positions are residential and based either in Riyadh or Jeddah and are residential with annual leave and a return flight back to South Africa. Our client makes use of modern medical equipment and technology.
