Job summary

HumanRise ZA is seeking a senior veterinary surgeon to provide advanced surgical care for companion animals from initial assessment through postoperative recovery. The role is based in the Middle East (Riyadh or Jeddah) with residential status, annual leave, and a return flight to South Africa.

• Coordinate perioperative care with anesthesia and nursing teams
• Monitor recovery and manage complications
• Explain procedures and aftercare and maintain surgical records

Job Summary

Key Requirements

• Recognised veterinary degree and certified specialisation relevant to veterinary surgery
• Minimum of five years' clinical experience
• Experience performing complex procedures and managing surgical complications
• Willingness to relocate and participate in shift and emergency coverage

Key Responsibilities

• Assess surgical patients and interpret diagnostic findings
• Develop plans and perform elective and emergency surgery
• Coordinate perioperative care with anesthesia and nursing teams
• Monitor recovery and manage complications
• Explain procedures and aftercare and maintain surgical records

These positions are residential and based either in Riyadh or Jeddah and are residential with annual leave and a return flight back to South Africa. Our client makes use of modern medical equipment and technology.
