Job summary

Network Recruitment seeks an experienced Analytics & Reporting Lead to drive data-driven decision-making, performance management and commercial insights in a fast-paced environment.

The role focuses on translating challenges into insights, building scalable dashboards, and establishing KPIs to improve business performance. You will mentor analytics teams and collaborate across finance, risk, technology and data groups in Johannesburg.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Studies, IT, Mathematical Sciences, Analytics, Actuarial Science or related field.
• Minimum 6 years’ experience in analytics, reporting, BI or data environments.
• 3–4 years’ experience leading analytics teams in financial services or related industry.
• Strong SQL, BI and data visualization expertise.

Drive advanced analytics initiatives to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and performance drivers. Collaborate with business, finance, risk, technology, and data teams to deliver insight-led recommendations. Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and governance of analytical outputs and reporting processes. Lead and mentor analytics professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Support the enhancement of data collection processes, reporting structures, and performance metrics. Partner with technology teams to embed analytics into business planning, prioritisation, and commercial decision-making

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Information Studies, Information Technology, Mathematical Sciences, Analytics, Actuarial Science, or a related field. Minimum 6 years' experience within analytics, reporting, business intelligence, or data environments. At least 3-4 years' experience leading analytics teams in financial services or a related industry. Experience with Business Intelligence implementations will be advantageous. Strong SQL, Business Intelligence, and data visualisation expertise. Proven ability to engage senior stakeholders and influence business decisions through data-driven insights.
