Network Recruitment has a leading analytics role in a major financial services organisation. We are seeking an Analytics and Reporting Lead to drive business performance through advanced analytics, reporting, and insight generation.

The successful candidate will lead analytics and reporting solutions, partner with multiple business areas, and mentor a team to deliver high-quality insights that inform data-led decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, information systems, analytics, statistics, data science, actuarial science or related field.
• 6+ years in analytics, reporting, BI, data analytics or similar.
• 3–4 years leading analytics teams in financial services or data-intensive environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of analytics and reporting solutions for strategic and operational decision-making.
• Translate requirements into actionable insights, metrics, and reporting frameworks.
• Develop dashboards, scorecards, KPI tracking, and management reporting.
• Analyze performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Ensure accuracy, governance, and integrity of outputs.
• Oversee data extraction, validation, transformation, and preparation for reporting.
• Partner with business, finance, risk, tech, and data teams to deliver insights.
• Present findings and recommendations to leadership.
• Establish and maintain reporting standards and cadence.
• Lead and mentor analytics team members to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Drive automation and process improvement in reporting and analytics.

A leading organisation within the financial services sector is seeking an experienced Analytics and Reporting Lead to drive business performance through advanced analytics, reporting, and insight generation. The successful candidate will lead the delivery of analytics and reporting solutions that provide meaningful business insights, support performance management, and enable data-led decision-making across multiple business areas. This role requires a strong blend of leadership, stakeholder engagement, business intelligence, data analytics, and commercial acumen.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the delivery of analytics and reporting solutions that support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Translate business requirements into actionable insights, performance metrics, and reporting frameworks.
• Develop and enhance dashboards, scorecards, KPI tracking, and management reporting.
• Analyse business performance data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and key performance drivers.
• Ensure the accuracy, governance, and integrity of analytics and reporting outputs.
• Oversee data extraction, validation, transformation, and preparation for reporting and analysis.
• Partner with business, finance, risk, technology, and data teams to deliver insight-driven solutions.
• Present analytical findings and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership teams.
• Establish and maintain reporting standards, KPI definitions, and reporting cadences.
• Lead, coach, and develop analytics team members to drive high-quality delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement through reporting automation, process optimisation, and enhanced analytics capabilities.
• Support analytics-related technology initiatives, system enhancements, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematical Sciences, Data Science, Actuarial Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.

Experience:

• Minimum 6 years' experience in Analytics, Reporting, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• At least 3 to 4 years' experience leading analytics teams within financial services or a similar data-intensive environment.
• Experience delivering business intelligence and reporting solutions.
• Exposure to technical BI implementations, data warehousing, and analytics platforms.
• Proven experience translating business requirements into analytical and reporting solutions.

Skills:

• Strong SQL and data querying capabilities.
• Advanced experience with Business Intelligence and data visualisation tools.
• Strong understanding of analytics methodologies, KPI frameworks, and performance measurement.
• Experience working with large-scale data environments and data warehousing solutions.
• Knowledge of big data tools, analytics platforms, and reporting technologies.
• Understanding of data governance, reporting controls, and analytical best practices.
• Experience supporting UAT and analytics-related technology initiatives.
