Premier FMCG (Pty) Ltd in Midrand is seeking an Analyst: Sales Data to convert complex market information into actionable insights that drive our sales strategies and performance.

You will analyse market trends, benchmark category growth, monitor competitor activity, support forecasting of new product launches, and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enable informed, data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years FMCG experience required.
• Degree in Business Management, Marketing, or Data Science required.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities essential.

Responsibilities

• Analyse market trends to contribute to sales strategies.

• Provide data for forecasting new product launches.

Role and Responsibilities

• To analyse market trends, in order to contribute to the sales strategies effectively
• To analyse category growth, in order to benchmark the business
• To analyse competitor activities in order to understand the trends in the market place and gain competitive advantage
• To provide relevant data in order to contribute to the forecasting of new product launches
• To interpret the market data in order to provide the business with relevant insights
• To develop and maintain relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders in order to ensure beneficial and trusting business relationship
• To perform ad-hoc tasks as and when required
