Placements24 seeks a qualified Aircraft Line Maintenance Technician to join our team at Upington airport. You will perform scheduled line maintenance checks, diagnose defects, and carry out repairs to ensure aircraft readiness for flight operations.

The ideal candidate holds an AME license with line maintenance ratings and has at least two years of hands-on experience, with a strong focus on safety and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced airport environment.

Qualifikationen

• Valid AME license with line maintenance ratings.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in aircraft line maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair aircraft systems.
• Familiarity with reading and interpreting manuals and schematics.

Aufgaben

• Perform scheduled line maintenance checks (A-checks) and routine servicing of aircraft.
• Diagnose and rectify defects on aircraft systems (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, avionic) during line operations.
• Carry out component replacements and minor repairs as required by maintenance program.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are performed in compliance with manufacturer's instructions, company procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Accurately document all maintenance performed, including defects found and work carried out, in the aircraft technical log.
• Respond promptly to operational disruptions and aircraft on ground (AOG) situations.
