Staff Unlimited Recruitment is seeking skilled Aluminium Welder/Fabricator for a 3 Month Fixed-Term Contract in Gqeberha. Candidates must weld aluminium using MIG and TIG, read drawings, and meet strict production deadlines while upholding safety standards.

Ideal applicants will have at least 2 years of direct aluminium welding experience, a relevant MIG/TIG certificate, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Location is Perseverance, Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth).

Aluminium Welder/Fabricator (Contract)

Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking skilled and experienced Aluminium Welders/Fabricators to join its Production Division in Perseverance, Gqeberha.

The ideal candidates must have direct experience in MIG and TIG welding of aluminium, with the ability to interpret technical drawings, work accurately to specifications and meet production deadlines.

Location: Perseverance, Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth)
Employment Type: 3 Month Fixed-Term Contract

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years' direct experience in MIG and TIG welding of aluminium boats.

• Qualification in MIG / TIG Aluminium Welding or equivalent certification.

• Knowledge of welding procedures for 5083 aluminium.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

• Experience measuring, cutting and welding aluminium plates and extrusions.

• Understanding of health, safety and manufacturing standards.

• Good verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively within a production team.

• Physically fit and able to climb ladders, handle heavy materials, work in confined spaces, and set up welding equipment.
