Job summary

JVR Software in South Africa seeks a skilled Welder to perform MIG and TIG welding on aluminium plate and extrusions, ensuring high quality and conformance to design specifications.

You will measure, cut, and prepare materials, read drawings, and work to production schedules while maintaining strict PPE and housekeeping standards in a busy manufacturing environment. This role also requires documenting time/attendance and complying with HR and production reporting procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of direct MIG/TIG welding experience in aluminium.
• Certification or qualification in MIG/TIG Aluminium Welding (or equivalent).
• Strong communication skills.
• Sound knowledge of HSE compliance and manufacturing standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MIG and TIG welding on aluminium plate and extrusions.
• Measure, cut, and prepare materials to design specifications.
• Read and interpret design drawings to ensure precise execution.
• Work with production schedules and deadlines.
• File design drawings securely after use and record time/attendance and submit documentation to supervisors as required.
• Comply with all internal HR and production reporting procedures.
