Vine Recruitment is seeking an on-site Installation Supervisor to lead aluminium and glass installation teams in the Wes-Kaap region. You will read technical drawings, oversee procedures, and ensure quality and safety standards are met across projects.

The role requires proven team leadership, strong problem-solving and communication skills, with advantageous possession of a valid driver’s licence. Independent work and reliability are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in glass and aluminium installation.
• Previous team-leading or supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of installation methods, hardware and materials.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s licence advantageous.
• Reliable, organised and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise installation teams on-site.
• Install and oversee aluminium windows, doors, sliding doors, shopfronts, curtain walling and balustrades.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Ensure installations meet quality and safety standards.
• Identify and resolve installation issues on-site.
• Coordinate with management, clients and contractors.
• Manage materials, tools and equipment.
• Complete site inspections and basic installation reports.
