Job summary

A logistics and airfreight company is seeking a Junior Airfreight Controller in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with Cargo Wise and actively engage with clients and service providers throughout the shipment process. Key responsibilities include managing air import and export files, tracking shipments, coordinating deliveries, and providing outstanding customer service. Candidates should have a Matric and a minimum of 2 years' experience in clearing and forwarding. Knowledge of Cargo Wise and Microsoft Office is essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Register and manage Air Import and Export files on Cargo Wise.
• Track and monitor shipments from origin to delivery.
• Liaise with service providers and local agents.
• Coordinate collections and deliveries with transporters.
• Maintain shipment e-documents and send daily status updates to customers.
• Handle daily invoicing and 3rd-party invoice queries.
• Provide excellent customer service, responding to queries promptly.
