Placements24 is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our client’s team in Tembisa. You will perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on a range of aircraft to ensure airworthiness and safety.

You will work in a dynamic hangar with skilled colleagues, applying your AMT knowledge to diagnose issues, document actions, and support timely returns to service while upholding aviation standards and safety policies. The role may offer overtime and opportunities for type ratings.

Qualifications

• Valid AMT licence (CAT A/B1/B2) or equivalent certification.
• Experience maintaining commercial or general aviation aircraft.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, blueprints and diagrams.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, avionics and powerplants.

Responsabilités

• Conduct scheduled and unscheduled inspections, maintenance and repairs on aircraft components and systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues; implement effective repairs.
• Perform structural repairs and component replacements per manuals and data.
• Document all maintenance actions in logbooks and records system.
• Collaborate with flight crews and operations to address discrepancies and return to service.
• Adhere to safety regulations, company policies and manufacturer specs.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on aircraft components and systems.


• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, implementing effective repair solutions.


• Perform structural repairs and component replacements in accordance with approved data and technical manuals.


• Document all maintenance actions meticulously in the aircraft logbooks and maintenance records system.

Requirements
