Placements24 seeks an experienced Aircraft Line Maintenance Engineer for its Upington operations in the Northern Cape. The role covers routine line maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs to keep the fleet on schedule.

Ideal candidates hold a SACAA AML B1/B2 license, demonstrate strong diagnostic skills, and commit to safety, quality, and continuous improvement while collaborating with crews and dispatch teams.

Qualifications

• Valid SACAA AML B1/B2 license.
• Proven experience in line maintenance.
• Ability to read technical manuals and engineering drawings.
• Commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled line maintenance checks (A-checks, transit checks) on various aircraft types.
• Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics of aircraft systems to identify faults.
• Carry out minor repairs and component replacements as required by the maintenance program.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are performed in accordance with approved data, company procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Accurately document all maintenance performed, including findings, actions taken, and parts used.
• Coordinate with flight crews, dispatch, and other maintenance departments to ensure timely aircraft dispatch.
