Job summary

Placements24 seeks a skilled Aircraft Avionics Technician in Klerksdorp to maintain, repair and troubleshoot complex avionic systems on various aircraft. You will join a dedicated team focused on safety and reliability in the North West province.

The ideal candidate holds a SACAA Part 66 license with Avionics (B2) rating and at least 3 years of hands-on experience, with strong diagnostic skills and familiarity with testing equipment and diagnostic software.

Qualifications

SACAA Part 66 License with Avionics (B2) rating or equivalent certification.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as Aircraft Avionics Technician.
Ability to diagnose and repair complex avionic systems.
Familiarity with avionics testing equipment and diagnostic software.
Strong understanding of aviation electrical and electronic principles.

Responsibilities

Install, inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair avionics systems including communication, navigation, autopilot, and radar.
Interpret avionics schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic codes to identify and resolve issues.
Perform scheduled maintenance checks and functional tests on avionics equipment.
Calibrate and adjust avionic instruments and systems to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities performed.
Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and manufacturer guidelines.
