Placements24 seeks a skilled Aircraft Avionics Technician in Klerksdorp to maintain, repair and troubleshoot complex avionic systems on various aircraft. You will join a dedicated team focused on safety and reliability in the North West province.

The ideal candidate holds a SACAA Part 66 license with Avionics (B2) rating and at least 3 years of hands-on experience, with strong diagnostic skills and familiarity with testing equipment and diagnostic software.

Qualifications

• SACAA Part 66 License with Avionics (B2) rating or equivalent certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as Aircraft Avionics Technician.
• Ability to diagnose and repair complex avionic systems.
• Familiarity with avionics testing equipment and diagnostic software.
• Strong understanding of aviation electrical and electronic principles.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair avionics systems including communication, navigation, autopilot, and radar.
• Interpret avionics schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic codes to identify and resolve issues.
• Perform scheduled maintenance checks and functional tests on avionics equipment.
• Calibrate and adjust avionic instruments and systems to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities performed.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and manufacturer guidelines.
