Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Avionics Technician to join our maintenance team in Vereeniging. You will install, inspect, maintain and repair complex avionics systems, and work with diagnostic equipment to ensure flight safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Aircraft Avionics Technician.
• Strong understanding of electronic principles, digital systems, and avionics hardware.
• Proficiency with avionics test equipment, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, and maintain aircraft avionics systems, including communication, navigation, and surveillance equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex avionics system malfunctions using specialized test equipment and diagnostic software.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on avionics components and wiring harnesses according to manufacturer specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings to guide repair and installation processes.
• Document all work performed, including component replacements, test results, and system adjustments, in aircraft maintenance logs.
