Job summary

Alignerr is seeking experienced natural resource conservation scientists to help evaluate and improve AI systems trained on environmental science, land management, and conservation decision-making.

You will review conservation science questions used in AI training, assess the accuracy of AI-generated content, and provide structured feedback to improve AI reasoning. This remote, freelance role offers 10–40 hours per week with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in natural resource conservation, land management, or environmental science.
• Strong working knowledge of ecosystems and conservation principles.
• Ability to evaluate scientific reasoning and provide actionable feedback.
• Experience reviewing written content in a remote, asynchronous setting.

Responsibilities

• Review conservation science questions used in AI training.
• Evaluate accuracy of AI-generated content on land use, ecosystems, soil, water, biodiversity.
• Assess whether AI recommendations reflect real-world conservation practices.
