Job summary

MRI Software is seeking an AI Solutions Specialist to drive AI adoption across our Professional Services organization. You will design and implement AI-powered solutions using Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, Copilot Studio, and Power Platform to improve delivery efficiency and reduce manual effort.

The role collaborates with consultants, project managers, and technical teams to deploy practical AI capabilities, train staff, and create scalable accelerators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years in software development, consulting, automation, or technical delivery.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Power Automate, or similar workflow automation tools.
• Experience with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, Azure AI, OpenAI, or related technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Position Overview

MRI Software is seeking an AI Solutions Specialist to help drive the adoption of artificial intelligence, automation, and productivity tools across our Professional Services organization. This role will focus on identifying opportunities to improve delivery efficiency, reduce manual effort, and accelerate project outcomes through the use of AI technologies such as Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, and other emerging AI solutions. The ideal candidate combines technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for innovation. This individual will work closely with consultants, project managers, technical teams, and business stakeholders to design, build, and implement practical AI-powered solutions that improve how projects are delivered globally. Please note, this position is required to work in accordance with U.S. hours (EST) 8:30am-5:00pm (EST) as well as working South African Public Holidays.

Key Responsibilities

AI & Automation Development

Design and develop AI-powered solutions that improve delivery efficiency. Build Copilot agents, workflows, and automation solutions using Microsoft technologies. Develop proof-of-concepts and pilot programs for emerging AI capabilities. Create reusable accelerators and tools that reduce project effort.

Delivery Optimization

Analyze delivery processes to identify opportunities for automation. Improve project documentation, requirements gathering, testing, and reporting through AI solutions. Support initiatives related to SOW automation, project management automation, and knowledge management.

Technical Innovation

Evaluate new AI technologies and recommend adoption strategies. Partner with professional services teams and product specialists to integrate AI into existing workflows. Experiment with Large Language Models (LLMs), retrieval-based solutions, and AI-assisted development practices.

Knowledge Management

Create and maintain AI solution documentation and best practices. Develop and improve internal knowledge repositories. Promote knowledge sharing across global teams.

Training & Enablement

Educate consultants and project teams on effective use of AI tools. Deliver demonstrations, workshops, and enablement sessions. Assist teams in identifying and implementing AI use cases.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in software development, consulting, automation, or technical delivery.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Power Automate, or similar workflow automation tools.
• Experience with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, Azure AI, OpenAI, or related technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio.
• Experience building chatbots, agents, or AI-powered applications.
• Familiarity with APIs, integrations, and REST services.
• Experience with SQL and data analysis.
• Knowledge of enterprise software implementation or Professional Services environments.
• Experience working with global teams.
