Job Summary

MRI Software is seeking an experienced Video & Multimedia Specialist to join our Brand and Marketing Influence team. This hands‑on creative role will bring the MRI brand to life through compelling video, motion graphics, animation, and multimedia storytelling. The Video & Multimedia Specialist will create high-quality content for internal and external audiences across brand campaigns, demand generation, social media, client storytelling, product marketing, events, and company communications. With deep expertise in video editing and post-production, this individual will also contribute to concept development and storyboarding, partnering with colleagues to translate ideas and messages into engaging visual stories. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with creative judgment, storytelling instincts, attention to brand, and a passion for emerging creative technologies. Please note that this role requires working UK business hours (Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:30 BST/GMT) to support the global team. We understand the need to provide a flexible working environment partnered with team collaboration and socialisation. Therefore, we operate a hybrid working model with 3 days of working from home per week. This role is based in the Cape Town office.

Duties/Responsibilities
  • Video Production & Post-Production: Create and edit high-quality video content supporting MRI's brand, marketing, communications, and business priorities. Manage all aspects of post-production, including footage review and logging, editing, graphics, audio, color correction, music, versioning, and final delivery. Produce a range of content including client stories, brand and campaign videos, product demos, executive communications, event content, and internal communications. Develop concepts, storyboards, and visual treatments in partnership with creative and marketing stakeholders. Collaborate with writers and communications partners on scripts, providing input on pacing, structure, and visual storytelling.
  • Motion Graphics & Animation: Create high-quality motion graphics and animation that elevate MRI's video storytelling. Design and animate typography, transitions, data visualizations, product elements, graphic sequences, and other motion assets. Translate complex products, ideas, and messages into clear, visually engaging animated content. Develop reusable motion graphics and templates that improve creative consistency and production efficiency.
  • Social & Multi-Channel Video: Create both short-form/social-first and long-form video, adapting storytelling, pacing, format, and creative execution to the channel and audience. Partner with Social Media and other Marketing teams to turn campaigns, thought leadership, and other content into compelling video. Repurpose long‑form content into high-impact short‑form assets that extend reach and content value. Optimize content for digital channels, formats, and aspect ratios while maintaining a consistent brand experience.
  • Visual Identity & Creative Operations: Ensure video, animation, and multimedia content consistently reflects MRI's visual identity and brand standards. Maintain organized video footage, project files, graphics, templates, and final multimedia assets. Develop reusable templates and production workflows that improve quality, consistency, and efficiency. Manage multiple multimedia projects and deadlines while collaborating effectively across Marketing and the broader organization.
  • Innovation & Emerging Capabilities: Explore emerging video, animation, multimedia, and AI-enabled technologies that improve creative quality, speed, and scalability. Apply new tools to areas such as ideation, editing, animation, audio, captioning, versioning, and content adaptation. Continually experiment with new formats and techniques that advance MRI's multimedia storytelling.
Required Skills/Abilities

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects, with proficiency in supporting Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
  • Strong video editing, post‑production, motion graphics, and animation capabilities.
  • Demonstrated experience creating both short‑form/social-first and long‑form video.
  • Experience developing concepts, storyboards, and visual treatments.
  • Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, composition, typography, music, sound, and motion.
  • Ability to translate business and communications objectives into compelling multimedia content.
  • Strong collaborative and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Curiosity and passion for emerging creative technologies and AI-enabled production.
  • Experience in B2B technology, SaaS, corporate marketing, or an agency environment preferred.
