Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is hiring an AI Software Engineer to own and ship our internal automation roadmap. You will build production systems on top of AI models, not train them, and implement agentic workflows using LangChain and related frameworks.

You will integrate with OpenAI and Anthropic APIs, develop internal tools, and connect WordPress, Figma, Google Workspace, and our CMS to streamline design and development processes. Proactive collaboration with a US-based team is expected.

What You Will Build

• Agentic workflows using LangChain, LangGraph or equivalent frameworks.
• Integrations with Anthropic and OpenAI APIs including tool use and function calling.
• Internal tools that reduce manual hours across our design and development production process.
• Automation pipelines connecting WordPress, Figma, Google Workspace and our internal CMS.
• MCP server integrations as part of our broader AI stack.

What You Bring

• 2+ years building production software with Python or Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen or similar agent frameworks.
• Proven API integration work with OpenAI or Anthropic (function calling, tool use, streaming).
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks and basic cloud deployment.
• English sufficient for async written work with a US-based team.
