Blacksmith Agency LLC is building an AI automation layer across our operations. As an AI Software Engineer, you will own and ship our internal automation roadmap, delivering production systems on top of AI models rather than training them.

You'll design agent-based workflows, integrate with OpenAI or Anthropic APIs, and build tools that reduce manual work across design and development. This is a remote, full-time builder role with global collaboration.

Formación

• 2+ years building production software with Python or Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with agent frameworks like LangChain or LangGraph.
• Proven API integration with OpenAI or Anthropic (function calling, tool use, streaming).
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks and cloud deployment.
• English sufficient for async written work with a US-based team.

What You Will Build

• Agentic workflows using LangChain, LangGraph or equivalent frameworks.
• Integrations with Anthropic and OpenAI APIs including tool use and function calling.
• Internal tools that reduce manual hours across our design and development production process.
• Automation pipelines connecting WordPress, Figma, Google Workspace and our internal CMS.
• MCP server integrations as part of our broader AI stack.

What You Bring

• 2+ years building production software with Python or Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen or similar agent frameworks.
• Proven API integration work with OpenAI or Anthropic (function calling, tool use, streaming).
