Blacksmith Agency is hiring an AI Integration Engineer to own and ship our automation roadmap. You will build production systems on top of AI models, collaborating with engineering and delivery leadership.

You have 2+ years building production software in Python or Node.js and hands-on experience with agent frameworks like LangChain or LangGraph. You will integrate with OpenAI and Anthropic APIs, work on RESTful services, and contribute to internal tools that automate our workflows across

Qualifications

• 2+ years building production software with Python or Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen or similar agent frameworks.
• Proven API integration work with OpenAI or Anthropic (function calling, tool use, streaming).
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks and basic cloud deployment.
• English sufficient for async written work with a US-based team.

Responsibilities

• Build agentic workflows using LangChain, LangGraph or equivalent frameworks.
• Integrate with OpenAI and Anthropic APIs including tool use and function calling.
• Develop internal tools to reduce manual hours in design and development processes.
• Create automation pipelines connecting WordPress, Figma, Google Workspace and internal CMS.

About The Role

Blacksmith Agency is building an AI automation layer into every part of how we work. As AI Integration Engineer at Blacksmith, you own and ship our internal automation roadmap. This is a builder role, not a research role. You will not be training models, you will be building production systems on top of them. You work directly with engineering and delivery leadership to take a documented roadmap of automation workflows and turn them into shipped, working systems. This role is for someone who has already built things with LLMs and can show it.
