Job summary

Blacksmith Agency LLC is hiring an AI Integration Engineer to own and ship the internal automation roadmap. This builder role focuses on production systems atop LLMs, not model training.

You will work with engineering and delivery leadership to convert a documented automation roadmap into shipped, working systems. 2+ years of Python/Node.js production experience and hands-on agent framework work are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years building production software with Python or Node.js.
• Hands-on with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI or AutoGen.
• Proven API integration with OpenAI or Anthropic.
• Strong REST APIs, webhooks and cloud deployment knowledge.
• English sufficient for async written work with US team.

Responsibilities

• Build agentic workflows using LangChain, LangGraph or equivalent frameworks.
• Integrate with OpenAI/Anthropic APIs including tool use and function calling.
• Create internal tools to reduce manual hours in design and development processes.
• Develop automation pipelines linking WordPress, Figma, Google Workspace and our CMS.
• Handle MCP server integrations as part of the broader AI stack.

About The Role

Blacksmith Agency is building an AI automation layer into every part of how we work. As AI Integration Engineer at Blacksmith, you own and ship our internal automation roadmap. This is a builder role, not a research role. You will not be training models, you will be building production systems on top of them. You work directly with engineering and delivery leadership to take a documented roadmap of automation workflows and turn them into shipped, working systems. This role is for someone who has already built things with LLMs and can show it.
