Puffy, a market-leading D2C brand, seeks an AI‑First General Counsel to own all legal work across Puffy and related entities. You will operate with mandates, coordinate specialist outside counsel, and be personally accountable for outcomes in a fast-paced, remote environment.

The role emphasizes AI-driven production, rigorous validation, and clear decision support for capital and strategic initiatives, with direct CEO access and high ownership of critical risk decisions.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with a law degree and good standing in at least one jurisdiction.
• Typically 5–10 years of relevant legal experience, with depth to operate without an internal team.
• Substantial hands-on experience using AI for legal work, with examples of what you delivered and outcomes.
• Strong executive communication, discretion, and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Own investment and related family-office legal work with risk assessment before capital deployment.
• Draft, review, and negotiate vendor, retail, and affiliate agreements; coordinate with outside counsel as needed.
• Manage the CEO's personal contracts, disputes, and cross‑border coordination with specialists.
• Use AI as the primary production method for substantive documents with verification of authorities, clauses, and dates.
