Placements24 is seeking an AI Ethics & Policy Analyst in Stellenbosch, Western Cape. This hybrid role blends remote flexibility with essential in-office collaboration to research, analyze, and shape AI policies aligned with societal values and regulatory frameworks.

Qualifications

Master's or equivalent in Public Policy, Law, Ethics, CS, or related field with tech focus.
Experience in policy analysis or ethical assessment in tech.
Strong written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Research and analyze global trends, regulations, and ethical frameworks related to AI.
Develop, draft, and recommend AI policies, guidelines, and best practices.
Conduct ethical risk assessments and impact analyses for AI projects.
Collaborate with legal, R&D, and business units to integrate ethics into AI lifecycles.
Monitor regulatory developments impacting AI technologies.
Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior management.
