Qualifications

• 3–5 years in AI ethics, compliance, or technology governance.
• Experience in South African regulatory environments is advantageous.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Law, or related field.
• Advanced degrees (Master’s or PhD) in AI ethics or technology governance are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement AI ethics policies aligned with local and international regulations.
• Conduct audits of AI systems to identify ethical risks and compliance gaps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ethical considerations into AI development cycles.
• Provide training and guidance on AI ethics to stakeholders, including developers and executives.
• Monitor emerging AI trends and update compliance strategies accordingly.
