Publicis Groupe Africa is seeking an Account Director to lead client relationships, drive strategic PR programs and oversee integrated communications for a top telecom client in South Africa. You will guide the account team, maintain strong media relationships and ensure commercial performance, with leadership in responsible AI adoption.

You will collaborate with cross-functional Publicis capabilities to deliver integrated solutions, mentor junior team members and sustain high-quality client

Formación

• Demonstrated account-director-level experience leading PR portfolios and client-service teams.
• Strong knowledge of the South African media landscape, with proven media relationships and pitching capability.
• Experience managing scope, profitability, reporting and staff development; familiarity with Chase or comparable account systems.

Responsabilidades

• Lead client leadership and strategy to develop proposals and manage expectations.
• Oversee content and media relations, ensuring quality briefs and effective storytelling.
• Manage commercial aspects: scope, hours, fees, and profitability; drive growth.
• Coach and develop the account team; ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
• Lead AI-enabled workflows while maintaining reputation protection and human oversight.
