Job summary

Accenture in South Africa seeks a senior strategy and consulting leader with extensive Financial Services experience to drive transformative engagements for top banks and insurers. Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in a top-tier strategy or consulting firm (e.g., MBB, Big 4 or equivalent).
• Proven track record in Financial Services, including Banking, Insurance and Wealth Management.
• Bachelor’s degree as a minimum (e.g. Business Science, Commerce, Engineering or similar).
• Strong client relationship management, stakeholder engagement and commercial negotiation skills.
• Clear understanding of opportunities presented by Technology, AI and Generative AI.
• Strong foundational Strategy & Consulting skills with extensive consulting delivery experience.

• Lead programme delivery across Banking, Insurance and Wealth Management clients.
• Drive market, client and competitor insights through immersive and data-driven analysis.
• Formulate corporate, business unit, and sales and service strategies.
• Lead the design of business models, operating models and business architecture.
• Conduct value architecture to identify cost-benefit insights for strategic opportunities.
• Lead experience, digital, and AI / Generative AI-led transformation initiatives with broader Accenture teams.
• Play a leading role in building and growing the Financial Services Strategy & Consulting practice and community.

Required Experience And Skills

• 10+ years’ experience with a top-tier strategy or consulting firm (e.g. MBB, Big 4 or equivalent)
  
• Proven track record in Financial Services, including Banking, Insurance and Wealth Management
  
• Deep understanding of industry trends, challenges and growth opportunities
  
• Demonstrated ability to originate, manage and close complex sales opportunities
  
• Bachelor’s degree as a minimum (e.g. Business Science, Commerce, Engineering or similar)
  
• Strong foundational Strategy & Consulting skills with extensive consulting delivery experience
  
• Clear understanding of the opportunities presented by Technology, AI and Generative AI
  
• Strong client relationship management, stakeholder engagement and commercial negotiation skills
  
• Excellent problem-solving ability with a balance of conceptual and practical thinking
  
• Passion for taking solutions to market, from concept through to execution
