Job summary

Standard Bank Group seeks an Artificial Intelligence Architecture & Engineering Technical Lead to own end-to-end AI initiatives, shaping the SBIB AI reference architecture across AWS, Azure and Power Platform. You will drive production readiness with CI/CD pipelines, model cards, drift monitoring and release management.

You will coach engineers, uplift process analysts, establish standards, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure Responsible AI and scalable delivery across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree in IT or related field.
• Experience in AI/ML and technology delivery.
• Ability to lead end-to-end AI initiatives with governance.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of priority AI initiatives (Aqua, SALT Fraud Detection, Email Triage, Hyper-personalisation).
• Define SBIB AI reference architecture across AWS, Azure and Power Platform.
• Drive production from PoC to monitored, governed deployment with CI/CD and model governance.
• Ensure solutions meet Responsible AI requirements and maintain architecture registers.
