Job summary

ATS Client is seeking a Technical Lead Developer with AI project experience to drive hands-on engineering across AI-assisted delivery in a regulated banking environment. You will write code, review code, and set technical standards for security, observability, and operational readiness.

You will mentor engineers, shape reference implementations, and ensure safe integration of AI coding assistants like Claude Code within production systems and audits.

Qualifications

• 8+ years hands-on software engineering experience, with a lead or staff level.
• Experience shipping production systems in a regulated banking environment.
• Proficiency in Java and frontend (Angular or React), plus at least one additional language.
• Strong API design, distributed systems, and enterprise integration experience.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on coding, reviewing, and implementing production-grade AI-enabled software.
• Lead code reviews, enforce testing, security, and reliability.
• Mentor engineers and establish internal playbooks and standards.
• Collaborate with security, risk, and compliance to align tooling with controls.
