Job summary

Zoomlion South Africa is seeking a results-driven Sales Agribusiness Representative to support farmers and agribusinesses with modern equipment. You will meet monthly sales targets, prospect new leads, and build strong client relationships.

Applicants should have a matric, a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or related field (Master’s advantageous), knowledge of sustainable farming practices, and excellent communication skills. A reliable vehicle, laptop and cellphone are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum matric / grade 12. Tertiary education is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Agricultural Economics, Crop Science, Soil Science or related field (Master’s is an advantage).
• Knowledge of sustainable farming practices and modern agricultural technologies.
• A commitment to excellent customer service.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Superb interpersonal skills.
• Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
• Must own a reliable vehicle, laptop and cellphone.

Responsibilities

• Meeting monthly sales targets.
• Prospecting, qualifying and generating new leads to support product lines (business units).
• Contact prospective clients through calls and visits to promote company's products and services.
• Build and maintain relations with new and existing clients.
• Maintain & update activities on CRM.
• Monitor the industry competitors, new products and market conditions to understand customer's specific needs.
• Prepare and submit weekly reports to line manager.
• Support farmers and agribusinesses in adopting modern equipment.
• Conduct field demonstrations, workshops, and training for farmers and staff.
• Prepare technical reports, proposals, and presentations for stakeholders.
