Job summary

Zoomlion South Africa is seeking a Sales & Marketing Specialist (Agriculture) to drive sales and support agribusiness clients in adopting modern equipment. The role involves field demonstrations, customer outreach, and CRM tracking. A relevant bachelor’s degree and strong communication are essential.

You will join a global company with extensive market reach and a focus on sustainable farming technologies. Travel and field work are expected in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Agricultural Economics, Crop Science, Soil Science or related field (Master’s is an advantage)
• Knowledge of sustainable farming practices and modern agricultural technologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Superb interpersonal skills
• Commitment to excellent customer service
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must own a reliable vehicle, laptop and cellphone

Responsibilities

• Meeting monthly sales targets.
• Prospecting, qualifying and generating new leads to support product lines (business units).
• Contact prospective clients through calls and visits to promote company's products and services.
• Build and maintain relations with new and existing clients.
• Maintain & update activities on CRM.
• Monitor the industry competitors, new products and market conditions to understand customer's specific needs.
• Prepare and submit weekly reports to line manager.
• Support farmers and agribusinesses in adopting modern equipment.
• Conduct field demonstrations, workshops, and training for farmers and staff.
• Prepare technical reports, proposals, and presentations for stakeholders.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Agricultural Economics, Crop Science, Soil Science
