Placements24 is seeking a dynamic Agricultural Sales Representative to cover the East London territory and surrounding areas. You will promote and sell seeds, fertilizers, crop protection chemicals, and farm equipment to farmers, agronomists, and agricultural cooperatives, building lasting relationships with customers.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or related field and at least 3 years of sales experience in agriculture, with strong communication and travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Business, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, preferably in agriculture.
• Strong understanding of crops, farming practices and agricultural inputs.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the East London region.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve targets for agricultural products.
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through visits and communication.
• Provide product knowledge, technical support, and solutions to meet customer needs.
• Prepare and present sales proposals, quotes, and product demonstrations.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
