Placements24 is seeking a highly knowledgeable Agricultural Agronomist to join our client in Centurion, Gauteng. You will work closely with farmers and agricultural businesses to assess needs, provide soil management advice, crop nutrition plans, and sustainable cultivation techniques to boost yields and profitability.

The role involves soil analysis, recommending fertilization, crop selection, pest management, and field trials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Soil Science, or a related agricultural discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Agronomist or in a similar advisory role.
• Deep understanding of soil chemistry, plant physiology, and crop science.
• Experience with soil testing equipment and interpretation of results.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client relationship management skills.
• Ability to travel within the region to visit farms and agricultural sites.

Responsibilities
