Job summary

Amana Living is seeking a dedicated Cleaner at James Brown Care Centre. This permanent part-time role offers 24 hours per fortnight with shifts on Wednesdays and Fridays 07:00–13:00.

You will help keep the aged care facility safe, spotless and welcoming, performing cleaning tasks, following schedules, and supporting residents and staff with a respectful, caring approach. Ideal candidates demonstrate reliability, time management, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Evidence of current flu vaccinations per Amana Living policies.
• Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance (within 6-months validity).
• Successful completion of pre-employment medical and reference checks.
• NDIS clearance (or willingness to obtain).
• Proven organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team, as required.
• Willingness to attend 1 day paid induction at our Rivervale Training Institute.

• Vacuum, sweep, dust and mop all designated areas.
• Follows cleaning schedule.
• Demonstrates competent time management techniques in cleaning routine.
• Maintains appropriate resident interactions in line with the organisational values.
• Manages laundry routines in line with the laundry schedule.
